Ms. Davis and her family are from the Bay Area, so the move to Napa Valley
and the wine industry was just a short hop. Jeanne had been working with
wine sales for eight years before accepting a sales and marketing position
with Silver Oak Cellars in 1980. After helping to build that brand, she moved
on to help develop other emerging winery properties such as William Hill,
Chimney Rock Winery, Cain Vineyards & Winery, Turnbull Wine Cellars and
now Ladera Vineyards. Ms Davis has a BA degree in Sociology and a minor
in Marketing. She has two grown sons and two grown stepdaughters and
enjoys traveling, reading, gardening and exercising. Ms Davis can be
